I may be jumping the gun but the death of a muscian in "no suspicious circumstances" usually shouts drug abuse to me......
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/jun/07/stereophonics-stuart-cable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Cable Being a local guy just up the road from me there are many stories about him while he was alive but as i never met him i won't comment on him but just say R.I.P Stuart.
"No suspicious circumstances" normally means an obvious suicide, like he strung himself up . Overdoses they normally say the cause of death is uncertain "But the police are not lookiing for anyone else" until the post-mortem is carried out.
choked on his own vomit after drinking apparently, was never sure why he had to leave the stereophonics but read it was over lisa rogers! r.i.p.........
yeah, he was seeing her in 2003 and she had a fight with kelly jones(singer) missus apparently and cable said some stuff apparently.........
How do they know it's his own vomit? It could be someones else's, I mean they can't "dust for vomit" can they? 10 point bonus for who knows where that quote came from
my mate used to date her!!!!! (he was punching well over his weight class!!!!!!) i knew stuart as he used to drink in Abercynon when i live their.
This "Rodgers Chick" seems to have been living up to her name then. She should have been called Lisa Rodgers Anyone! That's her off my list then.[:^(] Just don't say your mate has been with Carol Vorderman too, as that will really screw up my list. I find it hard to accept all these previous partners they have both had, was just them "practicing" for me!
He was indeed doing the Micro-Sized Welsh presenter from Scrapheap challenge back in the day. The rumour he heard when he was sacked was the other two were constantly moaning about his lack of commitment to the band. He was happy to rest on their laurels - they were a big noise in Wales, doing the big outdoor gigs and such, you know all the fans signing the tunes after the rugby and such, but Kelly and Richard wanted to go international with a more mainstream rocky sound. It all came to a head when they'd booked a studio to write / record some new stuff and he didn't turn up, saying he had a boil on his backside and couldn't sit to play the drums for any length of time, the others suspected he just couldn't be arsed (if you excuse the pun) and was out on the lash again. There are absolutely zero facts to back that up whatsoever and probably just a vicious rumour. But, as much as I liked him before and after, you have to admit the band went from strength to strength after he left.
TBH I am not sure if she is still that desirable. I have not watched telly for a couple of years now and fear she may have let herself go. Back on topic though. I am listening to the phonics for the evening.
Choking on his vomit is about the only thing he had in common with John Bonham... now there was a proper drummer. RIP all the same though. Shame to see anyone's life wasted like that.
Preferred the early songs myself about lives in the Valley. Anyway just had some hot news in....... " If your popping through Aberdare & there are works going on don't panic, there won't be much disruption as they only have 6 foot of Cable to lay"
yes please!!!! i used to date a girl who was a spitting image of her only to find out she had a hairy back
