another of the bend. you can see my skid marks where i was up on 2 wheels and my hole in the hedge [LOL]

more skidmarks and the same hole in hedge- the white mark is where the passenger side wheels landed and dug into ground after being on 2 wheels:

proof i was actually on 2 wheels- this is a mark on the road where my alloy dug into it:

my hole in the hedge. the fence i knocked down is out of view just behind the mound. somehow andy sneaked into the pic:

here are the wheels- the tyre must've come off the rim to get the grass in there. amazing thing was tyres were still inflated but were about 12psi when i checked em...

all in all i was very lucky. if that'd been a saxo or a 106 it could've been very different. i stepped out of car and the RAC were there half hour later to pull me out the hedge.
i was going too fast [:$]

Hi Darryn

I recognised the road as i use it for work quite a bit, 60's not too fast for that corner tho as you said u clipped the inner bank which will get ya everytime LOL

We live in Kilsyth but i drive as part of my job so all the short cuts and back roads get used alot to avoid all the roadworks going on around just now over that way

Should have bought a Scirocco, that would have took that bend at 60 no probs. In the photo where you can see two shadows is that a baseball cap (back to front) you are wearing?. Only joking Daz! hope you get it back on the road soon mate.

Up here we say " fields are for the cows and the sheep" usually just before u end up surrounded by them!! [LOL] [LOL]

Damage don't look too bad though, at least there was no fence post in the way! [:D]

darrynK

vrooooom - actually, there was a fence post. i flattened it! i couldn't get the car back out of the ditch as the post has jammed under the front panel and the wire fence was wrapped around the wheels!

hullo mr safeandsensible. see how fast you can get around there in your new c-max [:P]
been faster, just that time i clipped the bank. [:)]
