I got a Febi VR6 top mount kit from GSF, part no 45737K and they seem good quality. They use a seperate bearing (included). Havent fitted them yet but was informed by PhatVR6 that they work fine. They certainly look a lot stronger anyway.

got this set up on my g60 with normal shock/springs and the track car with coilovers,

you need the rubber bush and bearing, special nut to secure them onto the shock, and the top plate and nut to go on top and hold the leg to the car, if fitting with mormal shock/springs you also need the mk3 spring top plate,

bought all my stuff from vag as i've had problems with G&S febi top mounts in the past.

the mk3 setup uses a special shaped nut to hold the bearing onto the shock so you def' need that, you might get away with the mk2 nuts for the very top nut but i just ordered all new stuff, its not much for a new nut.

just look on etka at the dealer and order everything above the spring.

if your using the spring plate for normal shocks/springs i think theres a little play between it and the shock but once tightenede down its fine.

can't find the receipt, but i think it was around 40-50,

didn't seem to affect the ride height.
