I sold my Mk4 and took this as a PX. Its a 'rare' K-reg (almost as rare as oak green) and was originally a 1.8 auto and is now a 2.8 manual.
It has the full mk3 running gear, 6 branch manifold, VF front engine mount, polybushed thats as much as I know for the minute. The paint on it is crap and the interior is in bits. The previous engine blew up and that has been replaced with an 84,000 mile one. I'm not going to be using it in the immediate future but i'm going to crack on with the interior. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes its a Corrado interior. That needs to go along with the grill, lights and bumpers to start with.
I'm going to see if the previous owner has any pictures of it from the past. |

i think you'd better phone the previous owner and tell him he forgot to remove his children from the car when he left it with you
Looks good

I want to tone down the engine, make it look like its meant to be there. Inside I want mk4 Recaros. Out side I want it to look like a tidy 90spec GTI.
I'd be over the moon if I had it like that. |

Cheers, if it wasn't a K-reg I probably wouldn't have swapped it.
I fitted a mk3 centre console to it yesterday, I think it will suit the mk4 seats better then the one it replaced. A load of the bits I put on e-bay end tonight so I should get my Mk4 Recaros on saturday. ![]() ![]()

jammy sod, only ever seen 2 other 3 door k platers, and one of them was a rallye so was probably a cock up when it was imported
