They're around the 120-ish mark. Number of sources, some slow, some not so. Best to get advice on that before taking the plunge.

Cheers Chris. Not a bad price really, by the time i faf about with mine or buy another sump an re-baffle it i'd just as well go for one of those.

Anyone any idea on a good supplier ? do the virtually cure any surge ? I'm guessing it's a 4 ltr sump ?

got my schrick one through Badger-5 on here - somewhere 120/140 notes

Its ali (read soft), its got baffles, its the same capacity as normal, it can be used ok with a diesel windage tray with built in rubber gasket as the top is flat unlike a pressed tin one, you need to put spring and flat washers on and locktite to stop the bolts coming loose

used mine with full slicks for 2 yrs with no problems - got rid of it as went full dry sump setup

    Cheers chaps.

When you say soft, i take it you mean easy damaged ? And normal capacity.. 4 ltr like the deep tin sump ?

I've got a windage plate in my deep tin sump and baffle's but still had pressure fluctuation at Coombe so looking for a better solution. I had thought of a baffle plate accross the sump with some drain back holes but if the Schrick sump does the job it'll save a bit of messin about.

the schrick sump does not have horizantle baffles, only the windage tray would do this, still was ok on my car providing half full of oil

    re soft....yes easily scuffed
    4L capacity

try as I could, I could not stop oil leaking out of any of the sumps I have had, especially when running slicks - dry sump solved this completely but not cheap

The Reeves Mk1 has the same sump, but doesn't leak. It's had a few scuffs on it over the years, and it runs a low ride height - no probs reported.

    As nones answer yet!.........

It aids oil delivery; baffels minimise the movment of the oil in the sump whilst flying around castle coombe at mach1!

Can't think what the delivery was now, I think if you go to 'check out' but don't enter payment details it will give the delivery cost.

got a couple of sumps for my engines.

got one of the sumps from the top of this page
    autotech sump
pretty nicely designed, believe the design was taken from an old SCAT product.

other one i have is a trap doored std sump tracksport done for me. was going to run this in combination with a std vw windage tray.

p.s. on the windage tray don't pay the mark up 'tuners' add to a std vw/pattern part.
