This is a bit of a P1$$ take thread i'm afraid...I WASHED then T-CUTTED then POLISHED my mum and dads old MR2 today...funny little things! Can't work out if it's ready for scrap or actually worth something to someone to restore...any ideas?! They just want it out their garage.

This below is the single cold bucket of water out of the tap setup...its got bubbles in it to help wash the car, as you can see if is imperitive that you leave the sponges on the ground before starting the detailing just to add that extra zing to the paintwork.
We then set about the detailing process....trying to get it washed as quick as possible so we could get up the boozer for a pint while the water dried on the car
    [IMG]
Mark got on with detailing the side bits of the car with a stiff brush from a dust pan and brush setup
    [IMG]
a special product out on the market in a posh case is the way forward it contains CV grease and brake dust from a mk1 golf....be sure there is plenty of this on the sponge cleaning system before taking part in any detailing

Mike half details the car and half stands there like a c*nt...this is a very important part that can't be missed out. Im actually measuring how many layers of paint i can take off later with the t-cut before boning he back to bare metal.
Mark uses high end dusty rags and a very expensive power devil electric polisher from a car booter 5...bargin.
Wow...are work is paying off....time to go to the pub
    [IMG]
Back from the boozer a few coats of cheap polish and jobs a good un.....
It's still a shed but its a shiney red/rust shed.

It has actually come out quite good! Well done! Next time, use a kitchen scourer to clean the wheels. Works a treat! ;)

How much do they want for it? any MOT?

Fabulous handling cars, chassis developed by Lotus. Have quite a following.
