    Hi all
I have a 1.8 16v engine with a ported and polished head and twin exhaust cams fitted thats about to be running on megasquirt.

I also have a set of motorbike throtlle bodies with a 38mm diameter.

Are these to small or will they be ok?

I also have a set of skyline throttle bodies with 45mm diameter that i could modify to fit.

which ones do you think would be better?

I would prefer to use the 38mm ones as they dont need as much work but im afraid they may be too small.

    thanks

38s are big enough to flow enough air to produce approx 180 bhp, and they`ll produce better low down torque than the 45s

As above 38's fine for the power level your going to be at. Base throttle body size on equivelant choke size, NOT carb size.
