Can i use the 3 wire G60 inlet air temp sensor, or do i have to change it and get a GM(ford) style two wire variant? Thanks Matt
As Steve said, any bosch IAT will work. Just reflash cal with easytherm to match resistance with actual temperature. This one was from a Volvo 850 and was fitted to my 2.0 8v.
brillaint, cheers for that!! I'm sure i'll asking plenty more questions over the next couple of weeks as i undertake this project!! Will a Bosch sensor fit in the orignal g60 hole on the boost pipe?? How can i go about making/sourcing the HT leads as it is running EDIS and needs to suit 16v plugs? THanks
If you use the later style ford coil pack (ie focus zetec coil pack) and standard vw leads will fit, ihave used 16v leads on my 20vt which work great, i also believe that peugeot coil pack can also be used but it is probably better to stick to ford parts as you are using EDIS The coil are avaliable brand new off ebay for about 20
I'm using a G60 IAT sensor. I could provide you with the lookup-table generated from Easytherm if you remind me at the weekend.
