Just started wiring up the EDIS ignition system to the Megasquirt loom and pins 1 and 3 (i beleive are the coil and ig sys) apparently need to be shielded, as they would of done in a ford.

Do i need to keep this across the board, and shield them upto the megasquirt ecu??

Matt - yes, you need to shield it all the way to MS. Do the crank sensor wires, knock wiring(if you have it). I heven't fitted EDIS but you don't normally have to shield coil wires. Pop down to maplins & get some microphone cable (about 50p/metre). Only earth 1 end of the shielding - normally the sensor end.
