crank position sensor

    Can anyone tell me is the ABF cps inductive or digital? [ means nothing to me but i need to know]. thanks.

    It's a 12v hall sensor, 3 pin plug (12v/signal out/earth) reads the 60-2 tooth wheel on the crank

    Cheers steve r but is that inductive or digital as it alters the way i need to wire up my ecu.

    I think they are inductive, what ECU are you using? I've wired my megasquirt for an ABF Hall so can help out if your using MS

    Halls sensors are a digital on-off signal

    hi anyone know where the crank position sensor is on a 1994 mk3 2ltr 8v gti my local vw dealer dont have one listed for the 2e engine [:s]
