In putting a megasquirt-n-spark box onto a valver, I'd like to keep the hall sensor in the stock 16v dizzy for crank angle trigger, but the sensor needs a 5v feed, the only one available from megasquirt is already taken with the TPS.

I don't really want to use a TCI module if I can help it as I don't really think it's necessary, it's just one more box to go wrong.

I'm not doing anything grand like EDIS, just a coil trigger off MS pin 36.

Thoughts anyone? Can I split the output off pin 26 (TPS Vref) for the hall sensor, or am I likely to screw up the TPS signal with it?

So I'm safe to use pin26 for both TPS and the hall doodah.. brill :) - what colour wire (on the hall sensor loom) is it?

Red with black stripe is the 5v wire (+). should be on the one of the ends.
