I've now updated the megasquirt ECU to a v3 board and modified it to control fuel and wasted spark, this new ECU has been mapped by Toyotec

I'm also trying a different inlet manifold thats a 16v lower section cut and welded to a 20v manifold. It frees up a lot of space in the engine bay and allows me to refit the eibach strut brace. I'll get the car to a RR soon to see the effect on power output.

I also picked up another set of 15" MO's recently these came with clio cup slicks fitted

I've also modified my gearshifter setup a fair amount, fitting bearings to the all smiles shifter and the tower in the box full thread here

Looking good Steve. Have you got any pics of the All Smiles shifter installed?

Did you manage to fit the lower strut brace?

    Thanks for the comments,

My dad and I installed the cage ourselves, its a bolt in 14 point but strengthening plates have to be welded in at each mounting point, lots of work but we got it all done in a day. [:D]

Not sure on power, it probably needs a tweek to the map as i've swapped the KR cams for ABF ones this week. I'll get to stealth when i've got time.

Dash is an AW Tracksport one, made of fibreglass, heres a few pics:

Plain dash cut to clear roll cage

Cutouts for corrado adjustable height steering column and relocated clocks

Removed the heated channel from the original dash to mount on the tracksport dash, holes were drilled in the dash to allow the air to reach the screen

    Back from flocking

    Heater controls moved

    Megasquirt connection point

    Finished

The best bit of the car. The reason i bought this particular car was because this was fitted to it. (A very very lucky find on autotrader [:D] )

I then added a peloquin diff

    H&R ARB's fitted this week

    replacing Eibachs

Lot of effort getting the dash right there steve - and a great job, what with the 'plain' starting 'canvass' !

Plenty of nice parts on the car now, and look forward to seeing it out again.

Do you still have the sunroof removal step-by-step, or is my mind playing tricks that there were more photos?

Cheers Chris, i'm looking forward to getting the car back out on track this year.

The original sunroof removal thread is here but most of pics have died as they were in a picturtrail account that i no longer use, i'm up loading them to my photobucket account now so will try to edit them back into the thread.

Edit: pics in sunroof thread now work.

I'm not sure how much its all cost as i gave up trying to keep track of the costs ages ago.

Lots of bits have been bought second hand and i've bought a few cars for certain parts and then broken them for spares to recoup the money. I would imagine its cost around 4-5 grand.
