    Hey, I'm Dom and from York... had big problems registering a while back and had to rely on a friends username etc, but finally registered now....

    Thought I'd put up a few pics, not much has changed but hope that changes soon.... let me know what you think...

    General

    Full respray inc interior, doors, boot, etc in Pearl White with Sapphire blue flick
    15 x 7 ATS Cups with brand new 195/45's
    Smooth Boot, Wing, Scuttle Panel
    German plates
    Crystal front lights and indiators
    All red rear lights (previously M3 style rear lights)
    Brand new bumpers and door handles
    Flag mirrors
    1/4 opening windows

    Interior

    Full black leather Recaros
    Momo race 300mm wheel
    Smiths gauges
    Chrome inner door handles
    Brushed window winders
    Mint standard doorcards, parcel shelf
    Brand new headlining
    Sony Minidisc headunit, 6 CD Changer
    Beetle Ashtray

    Chassis

    Full PowerFlex poly bushed all round
    Supersport Coilies
    Drilled and Grooved discs, fast road pads
    Braided hoses
    Dubweiser front and rear strut braces


    Engine

    2.0 litre 3a bottom end, mated to 1.8 Mk1 head
    Stage 1 cylinder head and cam
    Mocal Oil Cooler
    Power Roar
    K&N
    New clutch, gearbox
    TSR linkage kit
    Supersprint backbox

    stunning mate!!! not sure if the blue flick is my thing, but it looks lovely none the less....

    i like it without the front bumper too!!!

    would love to see some chrome strips on the bumpers, but that's just my tastes, might photoshop it later :thumbup:

    Beautiful.
    But... do all Mk1s do this or is the lower part of the rear panel pushed in slightly asymmetrically, exhaust side?
    Noticeable in the pic below:

    Don't think so - I took the liberty of PSing some guides on the another image (levelled) and you can see that the lower rear panel has a curve in it that apexes off-centre.
    Are they all like this?

    Yeah, looks like its ready for the scrap heap.

    I`m pretty sure the rear panel should be straight, but TBH it`s not that far out. As long as the rest of the car is straight then it`ll be fine.
