Posting this on behalf of a friend.

He has a 1.8 8v engine from a Mk3 Golf and a pair of twin weber 45s and wants to mate the two together. Can the normal off the shelf cast inlet manifold advertised for Mk1 and Mk2 GTIs be used or will it have to be a custom made job?

but i'd double check that they would fit, the inlet size might be abit different on the mk3

be warned that some inlet manifold dont clear the water flange.
i have the dbilas one (listed for the kr) and that clears the water flange fine.
