setting up fuel pressure

    do you set the fuel pressure when the carbs/engine is running.
    i have a mapassi filter king regulator/filter.
    i can't seem toi adjust the pressure at all when just pumping fuel into a container.

    oh and its a facet solid state pump.

    fuel pressure is v important with carbs, 2.5 psi is ok., use pressure gauge on a T from fuel line. Ie with carbs connected or 'dead end' the pipe. no good testing the pressure with the pipe open, only do that for volume flow.
