    so this is the main build thread

    A few updated pics
    Underside of the car is primed and and has 2 coats of 2k of white.

    There is a floor mounted pedalbox on the way plus a new ecu for the engine.
    Still waiting on my tublar wishbones and other stuff from America :-(

    Very nice indeed, is it the motor from the DC5,very interted in this project as want to do same with my berg cup mk1 golf engine wise!!

    Keep up the progress please!!

    @ mk1g60turbo, Yep it is the DC5 engine alright. would be ideal engine
    for ur mk1. over 9k revs, higher final drive and off ya go [:D]
    Few lads have gotten 300bhp out of those engines over here in Ireland.

    Right thought id better give an update on how the build is cumin along (its ben awhile)
    Have gathered up loads of parts etc for the build overe last few months.
    Got car back from paint on friday so here are few pics, will try and keep thread

    Got the windows from Demon-Tweeks, rear window is thermo-formed aswel

    Demon Tweeks are a P4P distributor, so thats what brand of Polycarb windows they will be.

    Lost count on how much spent so far [:s]
    Have to ease up on spending for while and get building it.
    Need to get it as near finished as possible so i can get it
    corner weighed, camber, caster values and ride hight so can
    order up the Competition KW's :p
