    Hello Everyone.

    16V KR HEAD on K-jet.
since taking the head off for rebuild and re fitting i'm experiencing the following problem.

The car will start, run for a few minutes, but won't rev then stall and flood.

Checked timing , plugs, spark - ok

i have changed the following for brand new items to try and solve.

    Injectors
    WUR
    k-jet Metering Head
    TCI-H Switch
    HT Leads

fuel pressure is ok to metering head 80psi, no signs of Air Leaks on any hoses.

only thing it could be i think is

    HALL SENDER
    OR
    ECU

Any ideas anyone, otherwise the K-jet getting binned and the Microsquirt is getting fitted before the season ends.

have you checked if the spark cuts out and casues the car to stall, a timing light with an induction hookup is usefull here. put it on each lead in turn and the king lead, check for regular spark pattern :)

Unplug the Cold start valve and see if it keeps doing it. Also swap over the leads to the various temp senders on the side of the head. Sounds like it's a problem related to engine temperature.

Sparks generally don't just die... and you've obviously got one to start it.

My other thought is that maybe the fuel metering pin is jammed wide open.
