Got a mk2 golf with AMK 1.8t on Emerald ecu. Want to wire up the cam position sensor to the Emerald so i can run sequential injection. Does anyone know how to wire up this sensor? One is 5volts another ground and so on but in which order. Plug on sensor is numbered 1 to 3.

Have tried emailing Emerald but their response is very slow.

    Cheers, neil

If its k3 ecu than it does have a cam sensor input

I'v just wired my mates 20vt in a mk1 to use emerald k3, and was told not to bother running cam sensor as its not really much to be gained and would also have to mess with cam trigger wheels cant remember why now

I ask as I was sent some emerald info for 20vt from a friend when looking at my DTA, and it specifically said not to use cam sensor on that one. (K3)

Finally got it running using cam sensor, so it definately works. Used a Audi V6 cam trigger wheel and just reprogrammed the ecu. Runs fine
