300bhp scobby engine. This is going to be interesting. Transfering the transmission tunnel over from the scooby to the golf.

Engine conversion sounds wicked but can't help but think the body work may look stupid.

this is the body done.
looks like it got hit with the ugly stick , mechanics are great if only they left it as a standard looking mk2 which from the sounds of it is what johnny wanted a wolf in sheep clothing

OMFG that looks like a piece of sh*t, completely ruined a potential stealth mobile. Looks nothing like a mk2 golf anymore like JV wanted.

I logged on this AM just to see if there was a thread about this.

Really interesting - the mechanical work that went into that engine swap was massive, there was nothing left of the Golf once they'd made it all fit.

An amazing sound, shame it's going to look so chavtastic in the end.

It looks terrible TBH.

Should have taken a leaf out of the book of the chap with the white mk1 thats all scoobied up.

Plus i though JV had only just passed his test? is he trying to kill himself?

Saw The Finished Car Last Night- My 4 Year Old Draws Cars Like That! The Mechanical Work Was Good, I Wonder If Anyone Has Tried That Before? If They Left It Looking Reasonably Standard It Could Have Blown People Away At Shows But Instead It Will Now Just Scare Them Off!!
