dizzy/shaft oil seal p/n

    could anyone give me the p/number for the dizzy oil seal for the shaft ( not the o ring ) or let me know where to get one

    i have been around four places today and have now got 10 seals on order
    so lets hope they are the right one's
    should get them in three to five days
    will let you no i they are any good well i get them

    another one

    I got the seal from simply bearings, i used the lippy one like in the guide. to get the metal serrated ring out i just twatted all the dizzy internals out thru the top, the 2 brass bushes arnt a mega tight seal so it wasnt hard. To refit it I put the bushes back in the same way, then placed the serated washer on the dizzy then used a large flat socket to tap it back on fully.

    nice one that sheads a bit more light on this
    the ones i got are not as cheep[:^(] mind you there not much in it
    and i have no postege on top

    i had one place that wanted 5.68 each[:x]
    in the end i was 2.00 each

    still 2.00's nothing,better than buggering the hall sender up ,the one ive taken out is rock hard and chipped,must have got very warm at some point

    good job you saved that guide john its always better with pics,i think im going to start saving usefull stuff,just incase ppl decide to take the pics off

    just to add did mine few month ago and so far no leaks with the simplybearings seal :thumbup:

    027905261 mushy is that the pert number for the green o ring ,it says washerx2 on the packet

    was that the two fiber washers you where on about i dont think you can get them
    if that's one's john got it is the same one's i have on order 12x19x5
    the green o ring 027905261 is not cheep from vw have you the old one to get a size from

    na i just assumed the green o ring was that part number cause is sat on that packet with the info on,i dont need the fibre washers
    iv got the old one and my mate has the correct size diamiter ones but the green ones seem to be a bit thicker
