    Cheers Guy's. :)

This is a full build thread. So should make some interesting reading. I will try to post as much as possible and keep things updated in real time rather than things that already have happened.

I havent had a chance to do much last week what with the prep for the nurburgring but got stuck in over the last few days.

A few pics to kick things off.

380mm 4pots. Wheels came with the car and have been used to to roll her around on.

    New race seat.;)

The car came with a weld in custom cages core kit and the plan is increase it to a full on multi point touring car spec cage.

When we got the car everthing interior wise had been taken out. Ie seats carpets etc. We have taken out a load of brakets and unwanted bits in the last few days. Just the heavy tar stuff that all these cars come with over the floor pan.

But i have never seen so much in a car. Looks like serious Kilos. We are not going mad with this car ie seem welding, but will still be built to a very high spec. The loom is coming out and a custom one being made to get rid of a lot of excess wiring and save a bit of weight.

Ah the money shot lol the angle grinder:thumbup:

Its easier to get into tight spaces with out it. Health and saftey would have a field day:lol:

Had a productive day yesterday on the car. Things are starting to take shape.

I did the dreaded tar/sealent removal, what a horrible job it is. But she looks a lot better for it. Then removed some further brackets and started on the wiring loom

Lookng at the wiring n that reminds me of time time I stripped down an a fire damaged RS6. The wiring loom from front to back was about as think as my arm and diffcult to pick up.

Loving the number plate on the RS4 next to it...!

The plan is to run it in the LMA series and some GT endurance events next year.

The car will be built in 2 stages and the second will only happen if we think we can get a shot of our target. Sub 1m10 at coombe. Always up for a challenge here.
