Default Stealth RR day, Sunday 30th May 2010 - Results up!

Any plans for a CGTI Stealth RR day this year?

Graned the last one I attended was in 2007, but was good fun and always a good day for putting names to faces

Update:

Right

THIS IS NOW BOOKED FOR SUNDAY 30th MAY [Edit - date change - Trev16V]

We need a minimum of 20 cars to run the day. Numbers are supposedly unlimited, but I'd like to suggest keeping it to under 30-35 runs otherwise we'll be there all day!

Cost is £25 for 2 runs (back to back). For this you'll get a run on the dyno and printout of bhp/torque plot and power.

Runs commence at 9AM so meet time will be nice and early at 8:45AM

Friends and family welcome - more that come the merrier!

Non-dyno runners also welcome - ie if you want to come and meet up with people and check out what a dyno day is all about and put some faces to forum names etc etc.

(If you want to run once, make some adjustments and run again later on to compare, then you can - but you'll have to pay for 2 runs - ie £25 + £25 = £50)

Names down. Please state if you plan on running once or twice. Please also check if you are free before commiting to this!! I may even ask the club to take payment in advance through Paypal.

Direction to stealth on their website (http://www.stealthracing.co.uk/)

Would be good to get back there.

Please bounce any dates to help avoid clashes etc.

It will be well conditioned when it gets there. May visit 'base' just before, for correction purposes.

I don't know whats in the cgti calendar with regards to upcoming track days or any other events. What about a provisional date of 27th or 28th of Feb?

Does anybody have a contact number or know Vince to sort out available dates from the Stealth end?

I'm guessing for 15-20 people its going to be around £25?

That's not a problem clash-wise, though we've tended to go there around April/May in the past. Feb could be a bit cold, stood around all day and all that.

If end April / early May can be avoided pls, and also check the date of the Chipwizards RR day, to make sure it's well clear of that.

I'd be up for one. May is good. Hopefully the Corrado will be 100% by then...

Went to a CGTI one before when I had my MK2.

Definately count me in. I only live down the road.

I can make April onwards (when car's ready and back on the road).

I also want them to tweak the mapping on my car

I'm calling Vince tomorrow as he dropped me an e-mail on Sunday but I haven't had the time to come back to him yet! He reckons 22/23 May should be good with them but he has to check the diary.

I'll confirm max numbers they can run, and then break down costs for the numbers etc etc.

If its run as per previous sessions with good numbers it will be a dyno run and print out at about 20-30 mins a vehicle as opposed to set up which can take an hour or more per vehicle.

Also - to avoid disappointment - anybody running low will need to raise up their suspension (me included!) and anybody running semi-low with a mk3 (which will still be me!) with the VR6 splitter will need to make sure they can remove it to get on the rollers as I'd hate for people to turn up and be turned away because they are too low! I seem to remember Chris re-setting his camber in the mk1 last time I was at this session!
