We are looking at initial interest in 1.8t tubular manifold for k04 equipped cars we have had enquiries for these recently and are looking at producing them in the next few weeks. We would estimate costs at being around 600 plus vat.

We are building these at the moment and will get pics up soon we already did a manifold however the top boost hose required modifying so we are re-desingning for stock location and fitment on car.

It's a good point about the location and stock fitment seems to be crucial with these and this is what we are aiming for stock location for turbo and all other hardware.

We are hoping to have the second test manifold this week first one had some fitment issues with a stock downpipe, although unlikely people running these will have a stock downpipe best to be safe. When we have the manifold tested for fit we will be getting a flow bench test done against the stock item to see differences. We also have a customers TT who will be testing the manifold and doing some comparison data for EGT's, Spool, Intake temps and obviously a dyno test.

Would you sell the first manifold as i don't have a standard down pipe anyway and wouldn't mind it if you plan to sell it?

We have a Audi TT in with us at the minute and we have fitted the manifold to the car and we will behopefully posting up some performance data next week. Then if they work will be available shortly after this.

    On car pics

Mani now on car has been fitted without removing the head to show it can be done but in reality and to save your own sanity it would be easier to remove the head.

    testing

Initial testing on our manifold has gone well :) The TT we have been testing with was dyno'd at 302 bhp with the stock manifold at the same level of boost we have seen 322 bhp with our manifold and exhaust gas temperatures are 75 degrees less. Now we are going to see what effects will be seen with map tweaks but first we are fitting a uprated fuel pump as our injectors are working to hard and the stock pump is not up to the job.

We will be finishing the testing soon the TT was running out of fuel at the top end and we are having some issues with the uprated fuel pump install. Morgan has all the logs from the initial testing we will put these up when we have all the data compared.
