Split: do Audi V8 cam covers fit the 16v?

    Split from here

    Looking for a v8 cam cover without the oil filler on it which would tidy the look further as i could have number 1 coil straight like the rest.

    Good thought - do they fit though? Early V8?

    The early 3.6 im looking for. Wont know if it fits till I find it. Just a plan at the moment.

    I looked into this during my build.
    They do not fit.
    This picture was from a thread in vortex shows significant differences.

    cheers ED............Tho nothing a grinder and milling machine cant fix im sure [:D] Maybe I can just modify the standard cover.....Its not that important really just asthetics.
