This month's theme will be - The Colours of Autumn

So whether you're stuck in the city or roaming the countryside, there should be plenty of scope for a good picture.

    RULES:

    1) If you've signed up to the forum, you can enter. :)

    2) Photos to me (BristolFish) by Monday 25th please. They can be PM'd, or e-mailed (PM me for my address), or you can PM me the link to where it's hosted.

I will acknowledge receipt of the photo within 24hours; if I don't, chase me with a PM.

    3) JPEG format only, at 72dpi. After receiving a couple of entries last month with a larger than 700 pixel width (for good reasons), slightly larger photos will be allowed.

The new limit will be 1024 pixels width and/or height.

    4) If possible please strip the exif data from the picture, this makes it an anonymous entry. This can be done in Photoshop by "saving it for web & devices".
If you are unable to do this, or resize it, don't worry - sent me the photo anyway, i'll sort it out. :)

    5) The photo should be one taken from now, ie. the start of the competition, not something you've already done.

    6) A small to moderate amount of Photoshopping is allowed. So sensible cropping and adjustments of levels, for example, will be tolerated; as will cloning (if you're merely getting rid of small imperfections).
This is a photo contest, not a Photoshop contest. ;)

    Best of luck. [:D]

Arghhhhhhhhhhhh! You got to be joking BF.

I just deleted a photo of an intense double rainbow in the autumn leaved wood I was walking in yesterday.
Wait for this though, because my memory card was full and needed to take a pic of a Toledo radiator for an ad. [:^(]

    Which ones scare you daved?:

The one where I invite everyone in?
The one where I give a boatload of options of where to send them? (by a time limit so we can all crack on with our lives, and the next contest?)
The one where I PM'd mods to ask if it was OK to raise the pixel limit so that people with Flickr accounts could use the photo directly from there?
The anonymity one, (with getout clause?)
The really restrictive one, where people have to use a new photo, rather than one of the thousands of really good portfolio shots they've already amassed?
Or the "Hey, could we tone down the Photoshopping just a tad for this month" one?

    I've read the rules now.:)

    So:[xx(]

Will you please stop using the phrase - 'Photoshopping'[:x]

    Image Enhancement is far preferable.

    I don't have a Hoover, but I have a vacuum cleaner, or a Thermos, but I have a vacuum flask, etc.:o

    I don't know, you young people![:s]

Back in the day, about 1995, MS Paint was about as good as it got. It's still good enough for me!

    ps. It's free!

pps. I tried to use all the icons I could on every line!:p

God damn! Why didn't you post this before 10am when I left my hotel. They had a great garden that I could have used!
I ended up taking a few of the sunset in a hope you would choose something like that!

    Hey up Brisfit.

Why has last month's and this month's subject been almost impossible for me to enter?[:s]

    Last month was 'Modern Architecture':

    What? In Eire?:o

This month is 'Colours in Autumn':

We live in a mild south-westerly air stream, from off the Gulf Stream. OK, today was a mild south-westerly gale. But, the trees don't turn properly here for a few weeks yet!

Can I enter 'Colours in Autumn', in the November comp.?

ps. What about the lads in John O' Groats? They had their Autumn last month![:s]
