just fitted my new twin headlamps,followed the destructions all fitted, all wires plugged in,checked all bulbs are not blown. only 1 headlight is working(drivers side) and full beam on both sides.no side lights working. the destructions state:8:"Remove the headlamp relay or connector plug(whichever is fitted)from position 10 in the vehicle's fuse box and fit the bridging link as supplied.Replace the relay/connector". When i opened the fuse box cover,there was no relay/connector in position 10,but there was a bridge already in position 10(it is the bridge in the middle)the one on the side is the 1 supplied which i fitted i have tried the lights without the bridge which was already fitted,and have tried the lights with just the new one fitted(the one on the side) Im now thinking should there be a relay/connector in there? any help please would be greatly appreciated.[:^(] OH car is a n reg mk3 gti 8v without electric headlamp adjusters and no foglights.
