Can anyone tell me which cars came fitted with a 25mm master cylinder as I am told my S2 front brakes in my Mk2 Golf will work better with it installed. I assume it came on an S2 but was it every model?Did other models have the same one fitted?Will it be a dealer part only and if so how much? Any advice much appreciated.I currently have a 22mm mc fitted.
I've just bought one second-hand, from an ABY Audi S2. However, the same 25.4mm master cylinder was fitted to a number of cars. I found this link, which identifies the cars fitted with the Girling 60 caliper (and the corresponding 25.4mm master cylinder). Audi 100 quattro is probably the best one to target?!
S2 or RS2 being broken is the best bet, I have on on my mk2 to run the 4 pots off ebay from a comany the break RS2s etc for 35 to my door (GSF will sell you a new one for 80 or so)
