Been a little busy again Due to other stuff getting in the way of The Fourth I needed a little something to expendl some energy on so here he is. LUPOSITY. Looking all humble just a littlewhile ago... First up was getting he ground closer to the floor pans... Old stuff off. New stuff on. Off for alignment. I had to do something about the wheels. These came at the right price, 6x16 Seat Ibiza rims. Then they got wrapped in Toyo T1R 195/40/16 tyres.
Nearly there now, just the looks to sort out... I know a good body shop Off with the front & back bumpers. Front bumper with a fog lamp bottom gettin primed. Lost the indicators and put them in the fogs. Mirror caps got colour. Shell in the booth, lost the side mouldins and as its a Lupo it hadto have the roof painted... Silver. Headlamps shaded. Then all screwed back together by my new assistant... Pile of bits New assistant Alicia The finished article in about two week. Nice... PS th Micra is Howard an belongs to Alicia.
love it! nice subtle touches. Great to have a helpful assistant, mine just moans about parts being in the house.
You're an addict Phil! Regards to the indicators in the front fogs, they technically shouldn't pass an MOT as they need to be a certain height from the ground but I'm sure you know a friendly MOT'er Look great for all the little tweaks and the wheels suit it nicely
Great turn around on the lupo Pab, its looks great Now, how about a Nissan Pulsar/Skyline conversion for your assistants Micra
Cheers guys, its just a bit of a run around that I thought I could make look a little better, might be moving it on soon so if you know anyone?? It must be Mike I need a little help getting Alicia to make the gap from the sills to the floor smaller on Howard.
Got the first major road trip planned for the little car now, were off camping to Porthcothan, North Cornwall tomorrow til Wednesday then on to Plymouth to see Jason (Mr Hillclimber) to get my ABF head back. Should be home on Wednesday and then prep everything for the Inters trip on Friday afternoon, gonna be an ACE week. I'll get some snaps on when i'm back.
The quality is much better and the ride is really very good for a lowered car, i'm genuinely surprised how nice it is.
My neck of the woods (sort of) The weather has been rubbish here for the last few weeks, so if you wouldn't mind packing some sunshine into the the little lupo for all of us down here
Luposity's trip to Cornwall. Not quite loaded up to the roof. With camp established we were stalked by two menacing looking seaguls. First night sunset over Porthcothan Bay. Tried stopping he sun from setting... didn't work though. Luposity took to the new role of wardrobe/dressing room quite well. Then we took Lupo to the beech. And Padstow. Lands end was closed on Monday... Played hide and seek. Then went to Watergate bay. After a very chilled four nights it was time to come home and go to Inters...
