MK1 golf/jetta not the same, jetta diffo round the grille. easy to tell a MK1 jetta wing: http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=83622 oh and mk1 golf cab wings same as tintop, except later ones have side repeater holes
with mk2 wings they're all the same basic shape except: 1. G60 have some of the arch lip cut out for more wheel clearance, plus square holes for the g60 arch to hook into 2. post-90 mk2 wings have an extra hole in for the big bumper bracket 3. Rallye wings are flared obviously all post-90 wings have the extra bumper bracket hole though, even small bumper models
Later Mk2 wings on some models (Post '88 GTI and Driver I think?) have two holes in them for the front of the rubbing strip trim that is part of the arch
