Hi all. rebuilding my mk3 cab 2.0 8v and found that all the engine mounts are no more.
One one the drivers side, metal bracket is cracked and bracket to starter motor is snapped, and all others rubber are crumbling.
Problem i have is finding the parts i need.

I can find the rubber bits for all apart from the left and right side, and also need the drivers side bracket.

Very interesting seeing the engine and gearbox mounting to the chassis legs rather than the subframe.
That is similar to how the old works Golf rally cars were done. I presume it is to do with the Cabby shell design.

Is the engine code AWG out of interest. Possibly a search on ebay for that engine or whatever type is fitted will throw up someone breaking one that may still have the mounts you need.

x2 options for 35 they are:
1E0199732B -bonded rubber mounting right rear /
1E0199732C -bonded rubber mounting right rear / 1Z,AHU,AFN, ALE

39 is 1E0199731A -bonded rubber mounting left rear /

The front as Stewy says looks to be plain vanilla front engine mount, maybe hockey pucks may sort you there, but the part numbers are:
1H0199609F -bonded rubber mounting white / manual- gearbox: AAM,ABS,ADZ, ANN,ANP
1H0199609B -bonded rubber mounting green / automatic: ABS,ADZ,ANN
    1H0199609G -bonded rubber mounting brown / 2E,AEK,ADY, AFT,AGG,AKS, AKR
    1H0199609J -bonded rubber mounting / 1Z,AHU,AFN, ALE

From personal experience Vagcat numbers can be out of date, but they can be a good starting point. HTH

Thank you very much for going out of your way to find that out for me. I couldn't find a mount or a picture of the mount on any other car I needed it

Its is the Front bracket that holds starter motor and front engine mount

Oh! The middle front bracket is fine mate. It's the starter motor that has a bit broken off

The bracket onto the starter motor is attached to a piece of the motor it bolts onto

nope no joy. thes must be custom mounts. they are not listed anywhere for mk3 and have been looking at mk1 and 2 to see if they are the ones

i think the mounts are custom mounts. every site have the same mounts for the two rear and one front mount. there is no mounts for the left and right upper ones
