I am going to do the 2L bottom end conversion to my 8V Mk2, using a 3A Audi bottom end - but I just have a few queries that I need help with (if you wouldnt mind!)

Is the 3A block is the same height as the PB? (Exhaust)
What distributor setup would I use for a 3A block/PB head?

    Thanks in advance

same hieght so no worries about anything, and use the PB distributor. (double check it's the same size hole on each block and the gear that it meshes with on the intermediate shaft is the same of course, but you can always get an adaptor ring made for a couple of quid)

Hi all. Can the Audi ABK bottom end be used ok? I am able to get a low miler for next to nothing. I understand it superseeded one of the earlier Audi engines?

Is to be used with a MK4/Beetle Crossflow head.
