Get G60 0nes, other wise you need to change the top mount, spring caps, and a few other bits n pieces.

Corrado and MkIII VR6's all run the same topmounts. And the Golf G60 ones are the same as the non VR6 Corrado ones. I'm running VR6 Topmounts in my MkII with no problems.

    See below:

    MkII all: --- : 191 412 329
    MkII G60: PG : 357 412 329

    MkIII VR6: AAA : 357 412 331 A

    Corrado all: --- : 357 412 329
    Corrado VR6: ABV : 357 412 331 A

With both VR6 applications you will need the bearings. Part no: 1J0 412 249

Cheers for that, what suspention do you have on yours? And they say mk3 handling is crap as standard, is that anything to do with the topmounts or just the springs & dampers?

So its G60 v's VR6 [:s] Any one know the difference?

[EDIT]********Just noticed - G60 are the same as normal corrado so the vr6 ones must be different in a way that makes them more suitable for the vr hence thus i have decided to buy the VR6 ones. Cheers for all the advice*********

As i said before, get the G60 ones, or you will have to buy a lot more than just the top mounts!

Here are the etka diagrams to show you

The spring caps are different, as are the mounts and the top caps.

I'm running coilovers so I didn't have to worry about spring caps.

    I went genuine.

As I said in my post, if you go for VR6 top mounts you need the bearings. Part number also listed. But as Andy rightly points out, if you are running standard stuff you may well need new spring caps. Although my top caps were interchangable. I only went for VR6 stuff, cos logic suggests they are beefier and my coilovers are f**king stiff. :(

Yup, VR6 ones have a seperate (and thus, replaceable) bearing.

go for the corrado VR6 ones. and sort your stupid ride height out whilst you're at it! :p

I only have it that low so you could reach the bolts on the inlet manifold without the danger of using a step ladder
