TIP - Dont put hot kettle water....

    Yes, numpty bollocks here did just that this morning :lol:

    RAC Autoglass haven't got a green tint screen in stock so I've gotta wait till Tuesday [8(]

    Ever since I've been driving I've put hot water out of the tap on the screen and never had a problem, guess the kettle water was too much for it :lol:

    Oh well, the screen was chipped anyway :)

    just got a mk3 screen fitted for 67 all in [:D]

    If your local to Norwich I think I know where there's a decent mk2 screen ;)

    If you must pour water on it just use the cold tap. ;) It will be warm enough to melt ice but cold enough not to shock the windscreen into cracking :)

    Would of loved to see your face when it went!

    I remember a while agao that a woman had one of those scrapers where you put it in the microwave and it heats the liquid inside.

    When she put it on the glass the scraper shattered and all the hot water went over her face. Was pretty bad! [:s]
