    which cams do you people think would be best for and ported and pol;ished head?

    whys that then? surely i thought high lift ones would give betteer performace?

    looked at your site and to be honest i dont understand the lifts ETC i understand that the greater the lift, more full get in ETC wot would u recommend for a 1.9 as i have just got my self a ported and polished head,


    dont want nothing to lumpy unless its great powergain

    ok could u tell me how to modify the exhaust cam so it works the inlet cams, sorry if i seem little dopey to this but havent realy worked with CAMs before #


    so would the above mod be ok? want max bhp

    Loving this thread! making me chuckle! :lol:

    Ok troolad in (very) basics- kR cams good torque but no big headline bhp fig, wild screamer tasic cams= big headline bhp fig- but naff all torque.

    There are exceptions- Ianb for instance got an excellent compramise of bigh headline bhp but also excellent torque on his 2.0l 268/278 shricks I think- which are not mega lairy cams, but it took very prescise set up tho to make 'em perform.

    Basically think you need to decide what you want mate.

    You said you want bhp, that is served at the top end of the rev range, then you want acceleration and mid range - you really can't have both on a 16v, well not cheaply and easily, as I found out. [:^(]

    Yep, site is fecked, all the bt and altrezia pages are no longer working.

    I tried some Schrick 268/276 cams, there's a HUGE thread about it on here.

    All there is to mention about it is on here mate, save me going over it all again.
