    Hi All,

This is the November examination board paper for 'mk2 16v golf tuning'.
Please answer all questions on the paper giving full explanations where
necessary. Marks will be deducted for overly complicated
solutions or solutions requiring lottery wins ;)

    Question 1.

In your opinion what is the best way to increase the road performance of a mk2 16v golf. Is it :

    a) Sell it and buy something else (please specify)

    b) Engine transplant (please specify)

    c) Port the head, fit cams and then set it up good n' propa'

    d) Add BOOOOST! (Or turbo charging for the non insane)

    e) Nitrous and use yer spare money for shots of nitrous.

    f) Other.... (Please specify)

Apologies for any unpleasant school flash backs - I'm only new here :)

    AdvThanksance

I'd go for b) - engine transplant. If you go for a fairly straightforward 2 litre swap using a 9A/6A or ABF then add some headwork you shouldn't be far off target and it won't cost a fortune. :)

See the 2 litre 16v thread as mentioned above [:D]
