Oh yes, all 27 litres of it and boy was it loud!!!

Same engine as used in the Spitfire.

 

Chuff me, that was a good (educated) guess.

I suppose the SD1 was ok.......in its day

 

My dad had a 2.6s one of those and it loved to drink petrol and the brakes were shocking

Got to be that SD1 from Practical Performance Car, it's a merlin from a tank of some sort, same as the Spitfire engine only without the supercharger.
