my mk1 Track Car (03 - present) - (now road legal!!)

    Thought i'd finally stick my motor in the members section, I have had it since Nov 03 and it has certainly undergone 'some' changes since then;) Iam in the process of giving it a once over as its looking pretty tired these days.

    To give you some background i've started pics from 03!!, i'll add pics to current date in the next few days.

    I had a chat with you as you were leaving e38 3 year ago you still had the standard 1.8 16v in there i'll dig the pics out now

    whats your future plans for it

    future plans are sorting the body work, getting the car handling better by developing the chassis, and building a new motor! :)

    lots more pics to come though before we get to current spec, cage prep and install was hard work!!

    Geez, you have a nice mk1, if you live in Hayes then i think i live just around the corner to you, i have seen your car out n about n its boom

    wow loving this, the number plate on the front is cool, do you get an problem from the old bill with that?

    Also what sort of money did you pay for they spray job?

    Haven't had any prob's with the number plate yet.... the further you go away from it the clearer it becomes!!:) respray cost around 400, didn't want an immaculate job as the car is used daily and see's some track action :lol:
