Outside air temp sensor location...?

On audi a3?

Where can it be found?

most are found in the front bumper on the grille in the centre but for an a3 not sure but at a guess thats were it will be

 

Looked there but only wire going that way seems to be for the switch to let alarm know if bonnet stays open

 

no not at the top closer to the ground actually in the bumper were the grilles are

 

try on the mirror

 

will have a look tmrw, i want to utilise the sensor and plumb it in air intake so i can keep an eye on charge temps

 

i ran a digital thermometer on my old ibiza mate just stuck it under the hose on the throttle body

 

Could also be in the front bumper like the Mk4 Golf. On those it's near the the NSF fog light area.
