Really need some help wiring an ABF tdc sensor to a megasquirt.

on the db37 i have the following

    pin 24
    pin 1
    pin 2

i believe 24 to be a signal wire
and pin 1 and 2 to be earths?

dont know where to wire them to though.
    any ideas?

Do you not need to change out the crank sensor for a VR type to work with MS?

You can use the ABF hall sensor as long as you configure the MS board to suit, its been a while since i did mine but looking at this diagram you should be using pins 24 & 25 and wire pin 1 from the sensor to earth.

Things may have moved on, it was 2007 when i did this work [:s]

I have also just found an old post of mine on the MSEXTRA forum saying:

    On the sensor,
    Pin 1 +12v in
    Pin 2 Signal out
    Pin 3 Gnd

Might be best to check with toyotec......

Once the board mods are complete, then follow Steve's pin outs on the sensor.

MS1/2 ver 3 PCB for Hall CRKPS.

G28 Pin 1 to MS 'TPS 5v Ref' Pin 26
G28 Pin 2 to MS 'TACH SIG' Pin 24
G28 Pin 3 to MS GNDs Pin 7-11
