o2j side to side reduction short shift diy

    made this at the weekend and thought id share some pics

    what we need to do is move the pin that the cable attaches to down , i chose to make it ajustable too

    heres the back of the pin its sort of riveted over to secure it , you need to carefully mark and drill down the center then sand off the head so you can punch the pin out of the lever

    once the pin is free use a m6 tap to make threads inside the pin

    take the lever part and mark a line between the 2 pins , drill another hole or more and file it until its a slot fit the pin back on and tighten the bolt wherever you choose to position it ..job done

    yeah suits me ..seemed a bit too far for me , they way i did it you can put it back to standard anyway, im running it about mid way
