An original mark one Golf GTI in mars red.

    Milage approx 76,000

Owned for the last 12 years

    Needs some tlc

Bodywork okay, Interior is good (it does have an aftermarket sunshie roof)

Was my fathers company car from new, he bought it off the national newspaper where he was the Motoring Editor, then after a few years gave it to his wife, who then passed it to me about 12 years ago.

Thinking about selling if the price is right.

will add some photos later today

TWM 461 V is in mars red with check red interior

    any thoughts please?

    Welcome to Club GTI!

Sounds like a fairly scarce car now, but its value really depends on condition and originality. Mk1 golfs were pretty well built for their era, but are still prone to rust in some places, so corrosion is a big factor in the valuation.

To post pics on the forum, you need an account with a photo hosting service (they're normally free) like photobucket, flickr, picasa (I think) or many more. Upload your pics and post the links on here which start and end
