Hi i am mounting a oil catch tank in my mk3 2.0i 8v agg

just asking is it best to mount it inline from the crank case breather i.e. front of the engine
then feed the pipe out of the tank to the rocker cover breather then from there to the air intake pipe

    like this

or like this from the crank case & the rocker to the tank then to the air intake pipe

or crank case to catch tank catch tank to air intake pipe rocker cover with filter

or both rocker & crank case to a vented oil catch tank and blank the hole in the air intake pipe off

    mind my drawing lol

Yes. Even if you use an oil catch tank some droplets will find their way into the inlet so just block that.

run the pipe from the inlet to the catch tank. then either have a breather to air and cap the inlet hole, or run the output from the tank to the inlet hole.

you probably wont notice any difference except a slightly cleaner inlet, i ran mine to a tank for a week just to see if there is any difference which there wasnt, so i put it back

I agree that there is not a noticeable difference to the driver but there is a difference John
