Hi everybody! My name is Gia, I come from Latvia. Currently I am 23 years old, and I am a proud owner of 3 mk2 golfs. My first car was a 1986 GTI 8v K-jet, later on I swapped an ABF in it. This September a moron driver decided to destroy my baby at a parking lot, it was beyond repair. My 86' GTI How it all ended I was looking for a mk2 with a rust free shell, but mk2's in the Baltic region are all rusted out and poorly maintained. I had to go to Germany to pick up a sweet diamondsilver 1991 1.3 mk2. Couple of days ago I picked up another mk2, this time an alpine white 1991 gti, all original, but in poor condition. My plan is to build a 91. spec GTI using the diamondsilver shell, ABF engine and all 91 GTI paraphernalia from the alpine white. My minty fresh 1991 1.3 CL, low miles, extra well maintained, soon to be a GTI replica My donor 1991 alpine white 16v, high miles, crap condition, AC, power windows. I've always admired this site, tons and tons of useful information and friendly knowledgeable people. That's why I wanted to join. Looking forward to posting my build on ClubGTI. Cheers!
