The joys of a mk3

    Had it about a month now and saw some bubbling by the spats, so booked it in thinking it wasn't going to be much work... Oh how I was wrong!! Someone had rolled the arches poorly in the past, and siliconed all around the arch which sped the rust process. They'd also used some sort of bathroom sealer to hold the spats on, it came off in very thick chunks!!

    I missed some photos, but you get the jist. I collect it Monday and can't wait!! :thumbup:

    Will be getting the bonnet and wings resprayed in the new year, plus the engine bay when the engine is out [:D]
