Anybody know which one it is in the fuse box or which number it should have on it??? My mates got a Mk3 Golf 1.9TDI. The Wipers have stopped working at both ends of the car so that rules out the motors unless they have both fried which is highly unlikely. Fuses are good too so that leaves the relay. Need to know which one it is cheers lads.
I'm not 100% sure but it could have the number 197 printed on it, like the picture below. EDIT That is the programmable wiper relay by the way Edited by: mattwelcer
If it isnt the one above it'll be 19 or 99, 99 is the programable wiper relay. But it probably isn't the relay because the front & rear wipers have seperate relays
Yeah saw they ahve separate relays today when i looked at the wiring diagrams. So really seen as the wipers have separate motors(obviously ) and separate relays and its unlikely both of those two parts will break at the same time i think it must be something to do with the wiper stalk.
