Now after waiting for well over two months since i placed my order for a set of 18" CXT-s with offset to clear my brakes i was all exited when my girlfriend called to say they have arrived:)

I wanted her to check the wheels before she signed for them but courier driver refused to wait and gave her the option to sign as unchecked for damage, thank god

Anyway after opening the boxes two wheels have paint chiped off, naturaly i was livid, but after actually examining all wheels its evident thats not my only problem, quality of finish is just apalling[8(]

Porous powder coating, marks from handling wheels while wet, dirt impregnated into laquer, uneven paint finish, bla bla bla

Spoke to compomotive and emailed pics so its a waiting game now, so angry i cant even begin to explain[:x][:x][:x]

    Here is some pics

Put them into the boxes and send them right back asap, then theyll have your cash and the wheels and you can start getting pushy then.

Yea thats what iv thought, i know they are custom made wheels and everything is done in factory but surelly they never had any quality control over them before they were sent out

Worse thing is i bet it will take another couple of months before they get sorted, more plans ruined!

    That is pretty shocking. :o
Both the finish and the damage.
You would think they could package them up properly for shipping though. It is their business after all.
I have no idea how they got through quality control with a finish like that.[:s]

Very disappointing and poor quality. Will be interested to hear what they have to say.

Assume Stevie Wonder was on Quality Control THAT day?!

bugger! if they are custome made then one option is talk to them about having them stripped and redone by a proper wheel refurbing comapny.. i gues then down side is then the warranty for the finsih will be with a 3rd party, but it maybe quicker.

Yea shocking is the word, not to mention how much i had to pay for the privilege!

I will wait for a phone call tomorrow, if for a minute i feel like they are trying to mess me about i will drive down and take wheels back. Hope it wont come to that as they will have to deal with me in a pist off mood, not good
