Ta rjy. Just been trying to verify that. Can't get any of the on-line etkas running at all, and can't work out how to down load one!

    Got to be RHD though!

Andy. Wasn't having a go. You were busy with headlining problems. Just did not want you to miss it.

Can't believe that no one else is interested. As, on all of the second-hand GTIs I've bought the head shield had rotted away and the boots were cooked! As is the one on the current love of my life EV.

just been thinking and i needed a new one of these

these are now no longer available from vw, had a look around the forums
and seems to be some demand for them with them being so fragile and breaking
    so easy.

    any chance?

i think there would be a demand for a stainless exhaust thats an exact replica for a standard one , proper silencing to oem standards or as close as possible

not enough choices for us folk wanting non chavvy systems

Looking on Etka they are listed for the Jetta - The Golf ones seem to be in two pieces.
Do you know if the Jetta one would fit the back of the Golf - is the aperture the same size?

Sold my Jetta - so can't measure it?! [:^(]

Will have a look into it though, would be a nice peice to list.

    Cheers

    Andy.

the 2 piece item is for the Golf van, it still fits ok though and they're are made of metal.

One other thing.. the black stripe on a Mk2 GTI, that runs round the upper swage line from one headlight round the side and the back of the car and then up the other side to the other headlight. I've been using black insualtion tape but it falls off eventually!

Must remember... get the right ones, I thought those were the GTI side strips, so that will be what I am after. The stripes as on the Mk1 that the early Mk2 cars also had (below the lower swage line)
