Turbo specs now started in post 7 thanks to some fantastic contributions from Romain. Also loads more detailled Oettinger info added in the Tuner section, again thanks to Romain. The early engine dimensions are very different! Bizarrely, nothing so far on Callaway conversion outputs. Any links to period outputs? AGG valve stems: pass. I think we'd better double check 2E, AGG, ADY at the same time 8AS to advise!
Callaway Turbo upgrade - original information from page 16 of the document here. I don't see any information about engine spec changes (i.e. compression ratios etc). I don't suppose its needed with a blow-through turbo setup. There weren't many changes on my Turbo Technics Fiesta as it was mainly an uprated headgasket, the turbo/oil feed setup and a cooler. Anyway, stage 1 kit 130bhp, stage 2 kit 185bhp
Thanks Brian, all good here. I have this catalogue / similar somewhere, and that RE2000 crank is the fairly rare Holbay 94.5mm. I was discussing this with Romain and there's a theory it exists because we assume it has the 47.8mm big ends. Depending on when it was created, it may have beaten the 47.8mm journalled Oettinger 94.5mm crank to the market (there's a 46mm version preceding it). Otherwise no obvious reason why it exists, unless it came from the race side? I hope to have the race specs up soon on p1!
Chris there might be some mistake On nearly all the 1600 cc racing engine you put they are fitted with 86.4 mm stroke but that will make them roughly 1700cc And on some of them you put 144 rods (not sure for this one) The other one is the drake wasn't from austria that was the graff fitted on button car I believe
