took this today at a corrado meet at www.belvedere-house.ie what's most interesting is that it's a folly - a fake ruin, called the Jealous wall, built in 1760 by the owner of the house to block the view of his brothers newer bigger mansion

After looking at the recent great Red Arrows pics from richwig83 and marc25, I thought I would try my hand this morning when I heard a familiar sound. It came out a little arty due to the bright light from the sun creating the bands of contrast. If you look carefully you can see I managed to capture both Chinook helicopters with their blades synchronised! This was snapped with my old Sony Ericsson phone! If anyone wants to cut and crop it to improve the pic by removing the dodgy edge on the right hand side, feel free to do so. This would also centre the choppers up. You can then claim all the royalties from the pic. EDIT: Had a drink now, and that could almost be a wave and a couple of little dudes surfin a mahoosif wave.
FFS Stu, now the white clouds are gone so detracts from the tri colour contrast. I specifically used the sheity phone for the shot to get the over exposed effect. I didn't bother using my 10,000 dollar digimegagegapixelzoomtaefeckslr35mmdigilightcellphotocelltastic camera for these very reasons as it would have captured the shot very differently. The shutter speed also being to quick for me to sync the rotor blades as I wanted them.
