Having seen something similar on the Corrado forum that I browse quite a bit, I thought it's worth creating a thread of all the people who have VAG-COM (or now known as VCDS) who are happy for help someone read fault codes and whatever out of their car.

    So I'll start.

I have VCDS-Lite, fully functional with a paid licence. I don't *yet* have a commercially-bought lead (I will get one), but I have built my own interface and successfully used it to talk to our Corrado 16V's KE-Jet ECU which I know few seem to have success doing.

    I'm near Wantage, Oxfordshire.

I have a V-checker Pro. It`s an emulation of the old VAG1552 diagnostic reader, but will read everything VAG that has an ODB port (including all current models). Doesn`t do 2x2 though.

Apparently can be used to read blocks and alter stuff as per VAGCOM, but I haven`t worked it out yet! But it`s perfect if you just need codes read/cleared.
